Deb Bovy was born and raised in the picturesque countryside of Northeast Iowa. Her love of painting was instilled early in life growing up on the family farm surrounded by the natural beauty of the deep woodlands, flowing streams and colorful wildflowers.

Following graduation from Hawkeye Institute of Technology, Deb an award winning illustrator, worked for eleven years for a nationally known illustration and design studio serving a wide variety of clients before beginning her freelance career. Her expertise includes multiple mediums from acrylics to colored pencil, which have appeared in numerous advertising campaigns and book publications.

Deb resides in the Northeastern Iowa town of Postville with her husband and two children, not far from the family farm she grew up on.

Along with her active artwork schedule, Deb finds enjoyment in flower gardening, music, antiques and most of all spending time with family and friends.
